Smallest bird in the world
The Bee Hummingbird
The bee hummingbird or zunzuncito (Mellisuga helenae) is a
species of hummingbird that is endemic to dense forests and woodland edges on
the main island of Cuba and (formerly) on the Isla de la Juventud, also part
of the nation of Cuba.
Mass of approximately 1.6–2 g (0.056–0.071 oz) and a length of
5–6 cm (2.0–2.4 in), it is the smallest living bird.
|
Using bits of cobwebs, bark, and lichen, the female bee
hummingbird builds a cup-shaped nest that is only about 2.5 cm (1 inch) in
diameter. Nests have been built on single clothespins. She lines the nest
with soft plant fibers. In this nest she lays her eggs, which are no bigger
than peas. She alone incubates the eggs and raises the young.
|
The Bee Hummingbird looks rounded and chunky.
|
As the smallest bird in the world, it is no larger than a big
insect and, as its name suggests, is scarcely larger than a bee.
Like all hummingbirds, it is a swift, strong flier. It also can
hover over one spot like a helicopter.
The bee hummingbird beats
its wings an estimated 80 times per second — so fast that the wings look like
a blur to human eyes.
|
In the space of one day the bee hummingbird may visit 1,500
flowers.
The male is smaller than the female.

Commitment on Biggest celebration “ DIWALI”
Commitment on Biggest celebration
“ DIWALI”
We all are engaged in the preparation for Diwali. After 4
days when we light up the Diya’s, then they will bright up our house with the
light of joy and happiness. You will see the happiness and commitments across
the country.
But this will also put the light on the commitments that we
always had in the past, the commitments for which we even don’t want to think
at the time of happiness and celebration.
Now this is time to
take the commitment, Commitment to change. Come hold the hand of each other’s
and light up on the issues, which are pointing our lives and society.
Commitment to higher
education:-
Means without education, we are not able to understand the
value of life, happiness that we can achieve knowledge, information and the
mysteries of science. We are still backward in the form of knowledge. Higher
education is still like a mystery for our society. Getting admission in Good
colleges or schools is like winning the war. In private schools the education
is very costly.
We need to think of this as “EDUCATION IS THE ONLY POWER,
THAT CAN CHANGE THE WORLD”.
Freedom of Women:-
All the religions raised their voices for the freedom of
woman. Woman is only asking for the “Freedom from Restrictions” because she knows that “Freedom from
Restrictions” can only provide her the equality and respect that she deserve as
well as she can also reach to new heights of success.
Women have been allowed get the education, can go to Job,
can responsible for income and take care of their family, But to enjoy her
salary, choosing her lover, choosing her life partner and enjoying with friends
are allowed by some of us.
She wants the “Freedom from Restrictions”, so she can enjoy
this Diwali.
This is it………..
Wishing you a Happy and prosperous Diwali in advance.
Thanks for reading this.

Haunted place in India
Haunted Place In India
Bhangarh is a place between Jaipur and Delhi in Rajasthan
state of India known for its ruins. Bhangarh is also a prehistoric site. The
most remarkable of its buildings are the temples of Gopinath, Shiva, Mangla Devi, Lavina Devi and Keshava Rai. Other buildings
include shops along the main road, several havelis, a mosque, and a palace.
The palace was protected by two inner fortifications across the valley. The
town is separated from the plain by ramparts with five gates.
|
Entry to Bhangarh is legally prohibited between sunset and
sunrise. It’s the only ‘Legally Haunted’ location recognized by the Indian
Government. A signboard by ASI (Archaeological survey of India), specially
specifies these instructions, which further adds to the mystery of this town.
While the board is written in Hindi, the instructions on it roughly translate
into: “Entering the borders of Bhangarh before sunrise and after sunset is
strictly prohibited. Legal action would be taken against anybody who does not
follow these instructions”.
|
According to legend, the city of Bhangarh was cursed by
the Guru Balu Nath. He had sanctioned the construction of the town on one
condition, “The moment the shadows of your palaces touch me, the city shall
be no more!” When a descendant prince raised the palace to a height that cast
a shadow on Balu Nath’s forbidden retreat, he cursed the town. Balu Nath is
said to be buried there to this day in a small samadhi.

There exists another myth. This is the legend of the
Princess of Bhangarh, Ratnavati. She is believed to be the jewel of
Rajasthan. On her eighteenth birthday she began to get offers of marriage
from other regions (i.e. nobility). In the area lived a tantrik, a magician
well versed in the occult, called Singhia, who was in love with the princess
but knew that the match was impossible. One day Singhia saw the princess’s
maid in the market, he used his black magic on the oil she was purchasing so
that upon touching it the princess would surrender herself to him. The
princess, however, seeing the tantric enchanting the oil, foiled his plan by
pouring it on the ground. As the oil struck the ground it turned into a
boulder, which crushed Singhia. Dying, the tantrik cursed the palace with the
death of all who dwelt in it. The next year there was a battle between
Bhangarh and Ajabgarh in which Princess Ratnavati perished. Legends say that
there are ghosts in Bhangarh and that is why entry is prohibited for tourists
in the fort after sunset and before sunrise. The locals believe that the
princess Ratnavati has taken birth somewhere else and that the fort and the
empire of Bhangarh is waiting for her return to put an end to the curse.
